Cellca's best-in-class culture media fulfil the highest regulatory standards and promote high cell concentration, high viability and cellular productivity. Nutrition is balanced for maximal cellular energy. When CHO cells are cultured in Cellca media, the metabolic waste production is minimised, resulting in a high cell growth rate and protein production. Energy rich molecules, such as lactate, are minimally secreted into the medium and their cellular oxidation is increased. Consequently, cells have more free energy for growth and protein production. Cells grow in proprietary media in batch up to 1.4 x107/ml and in fed-batch up to 3 x107/ml.All Cellca media are free of serum, proteins, growth factors, peptones (hydrolysates) and consist of clearly defined chemicals; ensuring compliance with the highest regulatory standards. A separate certificate of origin and certificate of analysis are available for each individual substance. Long-term media supply and perfect production conditions are guaranteed through leading media vendors.
Our media are specifically developed for routine large-scale applications. They are easily soluble, easily filterable (0.1 µm) and powder formulated.
